- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 mug butter or marg.
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 mug sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon or nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 6 mugs soft bread cubes (about 6 pieces bread).
- 1/2 cup raisins, if desired.
- Whipping (hefty) cream, if preferred.
1Heat oven to 350ºF. In 2-quart saucepan, warmth milk and butter over tool heat until butter is melted and milk is very hot.
2In big dish, mix eggs, sugar, cinnamon as well as salt. Stir in bread cubes as well as raisins. Mix in milk blend. Pour right into ungreased deep round frying pan.
3Bake uncovered 40 to 45 mins or till blade put 1 inch from edge appears clean. Offer warm and comfortable with whipping cream.
To make Delicious chocolate Bread Pudding, alternative 1/2 mug semisweet chocolate chips for the raisins.
